GPU-Passthrough is the best way to get the benefits of virtualization without much sacrifice to actual performance. As long as you have hardware that supports it and you can get around to using linux.

I can see someone having fun that way but I always try to be as legit as possible. Especially when games are tracking your stats to see if something is odd. Also depends on the game and what you're getting out of it. I know people boosting on R6 will rage..but they tend to make more out of it because accounts are so cheap. Probably why they started to HWID ban a lot more.

That's pretty much how I am with most hacks. I only really need the ESP or anything to help see better. Almost never use the aimbot.
